Cindy Vanryn

After attending the Academy of Design and graduating with honors from Sheridan College Interior Design, I founded CVR Designs over twenty years ago. With a lifetime passion for art and design, my experience in project management and creative design has resulted in successful, multifaceted projects in the Toronto area as well as in many other cities around the world.

Design + Build requires extensive attention to detail and my combined role as designer and project manager ensures a seamless, efficient and cost effective process. It is also a particularly good fit for clients who appreciate design having a voice in every construction decision along the way.

My expertise ranges from kitchen and bathroom renovations, basement underpinning, condominium renovations, home additions, restaurant and retail renovations, entire home interior restorations, complete new custom built homes and vacation properties. My projects encompass budgets from twenty thousand to in excess of over a million dollars.

 

 

 

Our Process:

Here's a taste of the four steps of our unique and personal design experience. 

 

1. Vision and Lifestyle

In collaboration with our clients we work to establish an understanding of who you are and how you want to live. 

We then propose creative design strategies and inspiration to represent your goals, style, family needs and budget. 

 

2. Technical Drawings and Details

We will create and discuss with you the vision we've built together. We'll work out all the fine details, including custom design concepts, detailed construction drawings, millwork specifications and furniture layouts. We'll work with you so you understand and agree with every piece of the puzzle as it comes together. 

 

3. Budgeting Package and Project Management

We'll provide you with a thorough, cost effective budget once your selections have been finalized and quotes from skilled contractors have been received.  

Once we've reached a plan you're excited about, we stay hands-on throughout the construction process. Our project management services are an essential part of of ensuring the process moves smoothly and efficiently. 

 

4. Finishing Touches

The best part! Your home is almost ready. We will integrate your favourite objects and momentos to create an environment which not only looks fabulous but feels wonderful to. It's these little finishing touches that make your house and home.
